Agreement

By using ZipServ (zipserv.net), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. "ZipServ," "we," or "us" refers to ZipServ (operated by Vijay Saigari, Allen, TX). "You" refers to anyone who accesses or uses the platform.

What ZipServ does

ZipServ is a neighbor-recommendation directory for local home services. We publish business listings based on recommendations from real neighbors. We do not employ, endorse, license, or warranty any listed service provider. We are a platform connecting homeowners with local businesses — not a contractor, agency, or service provider ourselves.

For homeowners (finding services)

  • Searching and requesting quotes is free for homeowners.
  • We pass your contact information to the business when you request a quote. You agree to this when you submit the form.
  • We do not guarantee that any business will respond, that pricing will match what you expect, or that work will be completed satisfactorily.
  • ZipServ is not a party to any agreement between you and a service provider. Any disputes are between you and the business directly.

For neighbors (submitting recommendations)

  • By submitting a recommendation, you confirm that you have personally used the recommended business and that your recommendation is honest and accurate.
  • Do not submit fake recommendations, recommendations for businesses you own or have a financial interest in, or recommendations intended to harm a competitor.
  • Your first name, neighborhood, and city/state may be displayed publicly alongside your recommendation.
  • We may decline or remove any recommendation at our discretion, including those we cannot verify.

For businesses (being listed)

  • Listings are created from neighbor recommendations and are free during Phase 1 of ZipServ's launch.
  • Listings are free. If pricing ever changes, businesses will be notified directly in advance.
  • We reserve the right to remove any listing that generates complaints, is found to be fraudulent, or violates these terms.
  • Businesses may not create fake recommendations for their own listings.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use ZipServ to:

  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Harass, defame, or harm any business or individual
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the platform without permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Attempt to access admin features without authorization

Disclaimer of warranties

ZipServ is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about the accuracy of listings, the quality of any listed business, or the availability of the platform. We are not responsible for any damages arising from your use of ZipServ or from hiring a business found through ZipServ.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZipServ's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Collin County, Texas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ZipServ after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
